The requirements of this section are intended to be consistent with the provisions of the United Nations Globally. Health Canada is also developing regulations for the implementation of GHS. Health Canada has been working closely with the provinces and territories to transition to the new system.įollowing changes to federal legislation, the implementation of the GHS would require provinces and territories to make their own legislative and regulatory amendments.
